We promote vibrant information and media systems so people can make informed decisions, hold those in power accountable, and take actions to improve their lives. We work with information consumers and producers to ensure that people can engage with high-quality content through multiple channels—and freely act upon information that affects them.

In 2021, we will begin producing the Vibrant Information Barometer (VIBE), an annual index to track how information is produced, spread, consumed, and used. We have produced the Media Sustainability Index since 2001.
