Yuliya supports several IREX initiatives on civil society strengthening, citizen engagement, community dialogue, and conflict mitigation, such as the Policy for Ukraine Local Self-Governance Program, the Citizen Engagement and Reform Communication Program, America House Kyiv, and the United Community Program.
Prior to joining IREX, Yuliya worked at the U.S.-Ukraine Foundation for four years overseeing programs dedicated to strengthening U.S.-Ukraine relations, conducting congressional outreach, managing humanitarian assistance programs, and building new initiatives.
Yuliya graduated from American University’s School of International Service with a BA in international studies and a minor in economics with a concentration in international economic policy. Yuliya is fluent in Ukrainian and Russian. She is learning Farsi.
