As a Team Leader for Chrysalis, Upendra Miranthi Pathirage has experience empowering vulnerable women and youth in rural communities by creating an enabling business environment through income-generating and employment opportunities. Upendra Miranthi Pathirage is placed at Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center in San Francisco, CA, where she will work with programs and the executive teams to develop new curriculum for their women's training programs and create new opportunities and partnerships for entrepreneurs. Upon returning to Sri Lanka, Miranthi plans to establish a social enterprise which will be led and managed by women from rural communities.
