As the Founder/Chief Executive Officer of Waste Service, Tika Poudel manages the daily operations and resources of the company with regular corporate decisions and acts as a leading entrepreneur of  the waste management sector to scale up its unique innovative solution of biomedical waste  in Nepal. While in the U.S., Poudel worked with IDEAS For US in Orlando, Florida where he supported community campaigns on logistics and preparation and acted as a ambassador to engage and educate more young people from around the world through social media, worships, and participation. Since his return to Nepal, Poudel has focused his efforts on Nepal's First Central Treatment Facility for healthcare waste, creating 25 jobs, managing 5 tons of daily waste, obtaining 1 ton of daily recycables, and providing complete waste management service to 50 hospitals.
