As coordinator of the Gostivar Youth Council and as President of Youth Empowerment Platform, Sefer Selimi has designed and implemented civic, cultural and educational projects for the youth of Gostivar. During his fellowship in the United States, Selimi intends to further his command of techniques and activities relating to peacebuilding, democratic engagement and civil rights advancement, along with enhancing his negotiation skills. Upon returning from the Community Solutions Program, Selimi plans to focus his efforts on relevant social and political issues by fostering mutual understanding, democratic values and civic engagement among different ethnic groups of youth.
