Currently working with the Liberia WASH Consortium, a group managed by Oxfam and comprised of six International NGOs (Action Contra la Fiam, Concern, Tearfund, Oxfam, Population Service International and Water Aid), Robertetta Rose is an Advocacy and Communications Coordinator for water sanitation & hygiene (WASH). She serves as a liaison between the community, policy makers and the Consortium, lobbying, advocating, and empowering citizens to demand their rights to improve the water, sanitation, and hygiene conditions in Liberia. During her CSP fellowship, Rose worked with the YWCA of Niagara in New York, focusing primarily on women’s economic empowerment programs. Upon her return to Liberia, Rose concentrated on establishing savings and loan groups for rural and underprivileged women.
