Renato Belouche is a program associate with the Community Solutions Program at IREX.
In this role, Renato focuses on supporting partner relations and embassy engagement.
Prior to joining IREX, Renato worked on government, UN relations, and partnerships with the United Nations Global Compact. In this capacity, Renato assisted with coordination of strategic partnerships and global programming with governments and UN partners, which included negotiating public sector fundraising and mobilizing high-level participation in global events including the annual UNGC Leaders Summit. Renato also composed speeches and talking points for Heads of State and UN leadership on ‘Building Back Better’ from the COVID-19 pandemic and ensuring no one is left behind.
Before working with the United Nations Global Compact, Renato completed a journalism and communications exchange program at Hong Kong Baptist University where he strengthened his skills and passion for writing, diplomacy, and multicultural communication.
Renato holds a bachelors degree in international affairs from the University of Georgia and an associates degree in English rhetoric from Georgia State University. Renato is fluent in English and Spanish.
