As a program assistant for the Center for Media Literacy and Community Development, Pheonah Nandudu is a journalist with over five years of experience in community work and social development, and is currently working on a project which amplifies community and youth voices. During her fellowship in the United States, she hopes to learn new ideas and key solutions in developing meaningful projects to implement in her home community, while at the same time enhancing her media and community management skills. Upon returning from the Community Solutions Program, Nandudu plans to increase awareness around adolescent mothers and the direct effect these young mothers have in the community, while advocating for their empowerment through continuing education.
