As an Environmental Research Scientist and President of the Eco Warriors Movement, Otuo-Akyampong Boakye has experience in land reclamation and climate actions in indigenous communities. For his follow-on project in Ghana, Otuo-Akyampong plans to develop a community-based concept on carbon trading as a means of adding economic value to tree planting.

Otuo-Akyampong will be placed at Impact Hub, NY Metropolitan Area in New York City, NY to help organize community-driven projects that create awareness of climate change and introduce community-based climate actions.
