As the General Secretary of Ma'ayan Baruch, Ortal Be'eri manages and leads a cooperative community of 150 members, manage 25 services and businesses of the cooperative community, and leads cooperations with local, regional and national authorities. While in the U.S., Be'eri worked with Search for Common Ground in Washington D.C., where she built interventions and activities to tackle racial issues in U.S. communities and coordinated activities in impacted communities. Since her return to Israel, Be'eri has helped ensure social and financial security for community members, developed communal cohesion and partnerships between communities, and facilitated understanding and conflict transformation processes to enlarge cooperative goals in the larger community.
