As the Founder and Executive Director of Women of Destiny, Olivia Shaw empowers marginalized women by creating a safe space and providing mentorships and skills training opportunities. Olivia Shaw is placed at Pillsbury United Communities in Minneapolis, MN, where she will help provide support to abused women within the community through the development and implementation of services for survivors of gender-based violence. Upon returning to Jamaica, Olivia Shaw plans to implement a sustainable initiative for marginalized women to promote financial skills.
