As a trainer and activist for Bishkek Feminist Initiatives, Nurzada Kupueva has experience developing and promoting sexual and reproductive health and rights. For her follow-on project in Kyrgyzstan, Nurzada plans to normalize periods and teach healthy period management for women and girls from rural areas.

Nurzada will be placed at The Pad Project in Los Angeles, CA to adapt research methodology and identify the needs of women and girls to implement a menstrual hygiene project.
