As the founder and executive director of Kyusa, an NGO in Uganda, Noeline Kirabo empowers out-of-school youth in urban slums with employability skills. Kirabo has expertise and experience in project design and management, human resource management, curriculum development, training and facilitation, entrepreneurship training, life coaching and mentoring. During the fellowship in the United States, she hopes to acquire more leadership skills and competence in designing sustainable community development programs. After returning from the Community Solutions Program, Kirabo plans to empower unemployed, out-of-school girls from the urban slums of Kampala with the necessary skills to either secure employment or start their own businesses.
