Nishali Fernando is the office manager for the Media Empowerment for a Democratic Sri Lanka (MEND) program.

In her role, she contributes to the administration activities of the program. Prior to joining MEND, Nishali was in London working for the National Health Service as a Senior Health Care Administrator where she supported 16 surgeries within London. IREX MEND is her first step into the International Development sector, and she has been with the program since February 2018.

Nishali Fluent in English and Sinhala. She holds a degree in business management from the University of Sunderland, England.
