As a Law and Intellectual Property Librarian at the University of Zimbabwe, Nancy Kwangwa is responsible for designing and implementing evidence-based information and digital literacy programs for staff and students and providing advisory services on research data management to the University of Zimbabwe community. While in the U.S., Kwangwa worked with Byte Back in Washington, D.C, where she provided a pathway of inclusive tech training, worked with the admissions team to recruit students to the different digital literacy tracks, and served as an assistant digital literacy instructor. Since her return to Zimbabwe, Nancy has founded the Zimbabwe Information and Technology Empowerment Centre, an organization that offers training on information and media literacy and digital literacy.
