As the Founder and Executive Director of SoarAway, Megga Margaret Nalutaaya helps unleash youth as moral changemakers and empowers and build bridges for youth to thrive and lead.  She also serves as a life coach, Afro-Optimist, speaker, edu-preneur and organizational development strategist. While in the U.S., Nalutaaya worked with Character.org in Washington D.C., where she reviewed applications for Character.org's National Schools of Character certification, prepared for the National Forum by enlisting and allocating sessions and tasks to volunteers, and reviewed applications of the Promising Practices in Character Development in schools. Since her return to Uganda, Nalutaaya has focused her efforts on SoarAway, providing mental health support, engaging a network of grassroot organizations and volunteers to reach the most isolated areas, and reducing education inequality and fast tracking learning for students from poor households, especially in rural Uganda through the provision of print study materials.
