Martin Mwanga
As Coordinator with the Teso Children’s Development Foundation, Martin Mwanga works to provide a safe, secure, and healthy environment for street children through peace education programs and sports activities. While in the U.S., Mwanga worked with Peace First in Boston, facilitating trainings for AmeriCorps volunteers in peacebuilding among youth in elementary and middle schools. Since returning to Uganda, he has trained police officers in peacebuilding and non-violent techniques and has set up a community alert to help report abuse of street children.
