As a Project Manager for Adventist Development & Relief Agency in Malawi, Linda coordinates the planning, implementation, and monitoring of a project focused on adapting to climate change called “Enhancing Community Resilience to Climate Change”. She leads the implementation team and provides daily leadership in the technical, budgetary, and work plan aspects of the project. Linda is an expert in building capacity of vulnerable individuals in climate change adaptation strategies, aquatic ecosystem conservation, and environmental education training, with developed skills in facilitation, community outreach, and program design. During her fellowship in the United States, Linda hopes to learn about advocacy for environmental issues and climate change, as well as develop her leadership skills. Upon returning from the Community Solutions Program, Linda plans to work with youth grassroots organizations to strengthen their capacity and knowledge in climate change and environmental conservation focusing on utilization of low carbon technologies.
