As a Chemist for the Al-Raeed Medical Company and "The Hub" learning center, Layal Mahfoud has experience analyzing and conducting physical measurements of medicines and teaching student’s chemistry, physics and English. Layal is placed at American Solar Energy Society in Boulder, CO. Upon returning to Syria, Layal plans to work with local organizations to spread awareness of and access to sustainable energy technologies such as solar energy in her community.
