Khin Khin Kyaw Kyee is Project Director of Dedicated Next Generation and Program Coordinator of Institute for Political and Civic Engagement (IPACE). Since 2011, she has focused on youth capacity building activities, as well as voter education and citizen engagement programs. As a program coordinator, Khin is primarily responsible for organizing trainings, arranging events, and facilitating workshops. At the same time, as a project director of the Dedicated Next Generation, Khin is volunteering her time to organize youth capacity building and development programs and to encourage more young people to engage in community work. While in the U.S., Khin worked at the Center for Pan Asian Community Service in Atlanta, Georgia, where she worked with the afterschool program for youth from underprivileged communities and learned different models to empower youth, how to manage and organize capacity building programs, and tactics to shape values and develop life skills through daily activities. Upon returning from the Community Solutions Program, she successfully organized the Transitional Youth Project (2014), which intended to increase self-esteem, enhance identity, and develop life skills of youth through training in leadership, effective communication, conflict resolution, and health education. She also organized the first ever Community Solutions Idea Competition (CSIC) for youth to promote youth participation in community work.
