As a program manager for Global Regenesis, Janani Loum helps foster good working relationships with the community and promotes community-centered initiatives aimed preserving the rights of women and other marginalized groups. During his fellowship in the United States, Loum hopes to learn about gender and women empowerment from other professionals, specifically among communities that still struggle with gender issues. Upon returning from the Community Solutions Program, Loum plans to increase mutual understanding and dialogue between men and women in communities by conducting gender awareness workshop and radio talk shows.
