As a Deputy Head Teacher for Rikava Primary School, Ilze Kuhaļska has experience uniting the community and creating a sense of patriotism through various activities carried out at the school and in the local community. Ilze is placed at Greater Cleveland Neighborhood Centers Association in Cleveland, OH, to assist a P4SS Site Director with implementation of a P4SS afterschool program for youth, as well as research and provide resources and recommendations for new lessons, activities, and programs for P4SS program sites. Upon returning to Latvia, Ilze plans to continue her work in uniting the community by organizing various events and activities and develop a social enterprise based on ideas and experiences acquired during the participation in this program.
