Haitham is the youth program associate for the Ma3an Program, a program that aims at investing in the youth of the 30 most vulnerable communities in Tunisia to become more engaged in social, cultural, economic, and political life.

Majoring in English language, civilization, and literature, Haitham graduated from university in 2019, after which he started as a technical support agent in an international company. After that experience, Haitham decided to orient his career to working with non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Before joining IREX, he was an intern program officer at a local NGO in Jendouba called Youtheon. After that, he interned in the Tunisia office of the International Republican Institute, an American nonprofit, nonpartisan organization committed to advancing freedom and democracy worldwide.

Simultaneously with his professional career, Haitham is enrolled in a political communication master's degree program, he is the president of Junior Chamber International of his local chapter in El Alia, and he is a professional public speaking and debating trainer.
