Dushyanthie William is the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Adviser for the Media Empowerment for a Democratic Sri Lanka (MEND) program, aimed at improving citizens’ access to balanced, reliable, and objective news and information in Sri Lanka. 

In her role, she oversees developing and managing monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems across all program components, including indicators to report on program results. She also provides training and mentoring on M&E planning, data collection, and reporting to IREX program officers and partner organizations.

Having over 6 years of MEAL and qualitative research and analysis experience, her exposure spans across various industries. Prior to joining IREX, Dushy worked at Save the Children International, Oxfam Australia, Nielson Lanka, Kantar/LMRB, Women’s’ Chamber of Industry and Commerce, and the Hatton National Bank PLC.

Dushy is fluent in English and Tamil. She holds a master’s degree in business and management offered by the Liverpool Hope University and a bachelor’s degree from the Staffordshire University in the United Kingdom.
