Christopher Reyes is an international development professional with over 10 years of experience in organization development with nonprofits, volunteer management, human rights & governance, and project management with an advocacy background on HIV health. Reyes previously served with United Nations Volunteers where he measured the economic contribution of volunteer work as a Specialist for National Accounts for the Philippine National Statistical Coordination Board. While in he was in the U.S., Reyes worked at the Points of Light Foundation in Atlanta, Georgia, where he implemented a pioneering project that introduced skills-based volunteerism to the Philippine voluntary sector. Upon returning to the Philippines, Reyes continued his research on the volunteer sector in order to inform broader policy approaches to development. Reyes also finished his work with United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Philippine Country Office where he researched and consulted with LGBT nonprofit organizations working to empower and build inclusion for the marginalized communities of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people in the Philippines by improving their legal and social environments. Reyes is now based in Georgia, USA.
