As the Founder of DocUnion NGO and Editor-in-Chief of the Media about Development platform, Dr. Bozena Markovic Baluchova conducts trainings for future journalists and international volunteers on community development, global journalism, media, and information literacy and publishes hope-based stories about global challenges. While in the U.S., Markovic Baluchova worked with Media Literacy Project (MLP) in Albuquerque, where she assisted community organizers at various community events and conducted research for a media justice survey. Since her return to Slovakia, Markovic Baluchova has focused her efforts on research, lecturing, and global journalism.
