As an I-SEED project coordinator for the British Council Kazakhstan, Botagoz Kozhakhmetova has experience fostering social entrepreneurship among youth as both an employment option and a route to challenges facing local communities. For her CSP practicum, Botagoz collaborated with Greater Cleveland Neighborhood Centers Association where she worked on the planning and implementation of afterschool and summer programming for K to 12 students alongside the education programs director. For her follow-on project in Kazakhstan, Botagoz plans to support rural women’s economic empowerment through social entrepreneurship, contributing to the sustainable and equitable economic development of Kostanai and the surrounding region.
