As a Community Organizer for Ökotárs Alapítvány, Annamária Kovács has experience catalyzing and training Roma youth into action to initiate inclusive local change. Upon returning to Hungary, Annamária plans to start a sustainable community group that includes representatives from all social classes and backgrounds working together to improve their skills. Annamaria will be placed at Wisconsin Community Services in Milwaukee, Wisconsin working in Project Excel with adolescents who are involved in the justice system and have been referred to one of three different programs that the agency operates through Project Excel.
