As a Project Manager at the Euroregional Center for Democracy in Romania, Ana Leu currently leads All-Inclusive Universities: A Project for Enhancing the Accessibility Services of Universities for Students with Disabilities. The initiative continues the follow-on project she implemented after the Community Solutions Program and aims to promote a campus culture characterized by attitudes of respect and inclusion in the four universities of Timisoara with the help of student organizations. Leu is also involved in developing a project to combat bullying in the middle and high schools of Romania. While in the U.S., Leu worked at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York, where she learned about policies, procedures, and practices that ensure equal access to higher education for students with disabilities. She conducted research on the faculty, staff, and students with disabilities of the College to take a snapshot of the current mechanisms for people with special educational needs and to suggest improvements for better accessibility. Following the Community Solutions Program, Leu implemented a project to increase the access of disabled people to the higher education institutions of Timisoara.
