Alina Serban has over six years of experience working as a volunteer, fundraiser, journalist, event planner and public relations specialist to raise awareness around the issues faced by persons with disabilities and disadvantaged groups. She has worked with a variety of organizations including the National Association for Children and Adults with Autism, Habitat for Humanity Romania, PACT and Village Life. During her fellowship in the United States, Serban hopes to give another dimension to her work by exchanging ideas and processes in tolerance-related issues and improving her skills in project development.
