As a Gaza Program Manager for MedGlobal, Alaa Alkhatib has experience in health and rehabilitation. For his follow-on project in West Bank/Palestinian Territories, Alaa will update the referral network for Gender-Based Violence (GBV) services, conduct awareness sessions for GBV victims with disabilities on their rights, facilitate leadership trainings, and build a successful advocacy campaign for women with disabilities.

Alaa will be placed at Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta in Atlanta, GA to acquire more knowledge on conducting an awareness campaign to foster inclusion in society, build inclusive guidelines, transfer knowledge in project management, and build protocols for rehabilitation centers.
