Wajdi Belloumi is a program officer for the Tunisia Community College Scholarship Program (TCCSP) and Tunisia Undergraduate Scholarship Program (Tunisia UGRAD).

Wajdi oversees the on-the-ground implementation of the Thomas Jefferson Scholarship Program in Tunisia. The program provides Tunisian youth with hands-on, practical experience as well as workforce and leadership skills.

As an alumnus of the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant program, Wajdi brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the TCCSP and Tunisia UGRAD programs. He previously worked as a project manager at the Center for Entrepreneurship and Executive Development (CEED) on programs to strengthen Tunisian businesses by developing, connecting and mentoring entrepreneurs. He has also worked to advance women rights and empower youth and minorities through building a democratic environment, solid policies, and international cooperation.

Wajdi is an awardee speaker for the Intercultural Innovation Award—a partnership organized by the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations and the BMW Group at New York. He has also been an active member of various civil society organizations. Wajdi holds a bachelor’s degree in English and international relations and is working on finishing his master's thesis in international relations.
