Sharon Lang’at joins IREX as a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Intern for the Youth Excel Project based in Kenya.

Sharon  is a Data professional with over 3 years of experience in Data Management processes and tools. She is passionate about the use of data and statistics to inform and guide organizations in making evidence-based decisions and is joining IREX to support data processes. 

Sharon has worked as a Research Assistant at the United States International University-Kenya to facilitate continuous institutional improvement using data as information to support institution-wide decision making, planning, and organizational effectiveness. Her recent role as a Data Officer at Agricycle Global (US based startup) focused on Database automations & Data management across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. 

She possesses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Statistics and Programming from Kenyatta University and is currently doing her Masters in Statistics (Bio) at the University of Nairobi.
