Megan Armstrong is a program associate on the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program in Pakistan. In this role, she contributes to all aspects of the program, including administrative and logistical support, project monitoring, and alumni outreach.
Prior to joining IREX, Megan completed two full AmeriCorps terms, where she supported language and literacy development at underserved preschools in the Washington, DC area. Additionally, she interned at a variety of nonprofits throughout her undergraduate years, where her work ranged from building university to federal career pipelines to consumer financial protection activities.
Megan studied abroad at Peking University in Beijing, China where she provided support for the global development team for a Chinese marketing agency and supported their international expansion projects.
Megan graduated summa cum laude from American University with a BA in international studies, focusing on global development, and economics. She also has a minor in Chinese language (Mandarin).
