Jose works in the business services sector as the Director of La Tribu Arcoíris. For members of the LGBT community working in the corporate sector and who feel unsafe at work, La Tribu Arcoíris is a consultancy firm that helps create safe working environments by developing all-inclusive policies with businesses, improving productivity as a benefit to LGBT employees and their employers. Jose aims to promote LGBT-inclusive policies in Peruvian businesses in the short term and ultimately to contribute to the professional development of every worker within a business in a personal and professional way. Coming into the YLAI Fellowship, Jose’s top business challenge is Marketing & Sales. More specifically, they want to help Peruvian businesses become aware of the importance of inclusive policies and how they will impact their workers' productivity. During the Fellowship Placement, Jose hopes to gain knowledge of how American businesses are able to share and adopt all-inclusive policies in a successful way so that they can replicate it in their country.
