Francisco works in the Education Sector leading Codeis. A development and innovation professional, Francisco runs a social enterprise empowering vulnerable groups by capacity building for their personal and community development. Codeis offers training and consulting services for NGOs, private companies, public institutions, and individuals. In Ecuador, the entrepreneurial programs for people living in vulnerable conditions are predominantly focused on immediate survival; however, Codeis teaches social innovation, equipping its clients with the tools to generate an income and empower them to become local changemakers. The current programs offered include World Change Makers Youth, Homecoming, Women, Warmi Digital, Extraordinarios, and Cangahua Crece. Coming to the YLAI Fellowship, Francisco’s top business challenge is finance.
