Technical Advisor II
Education, Technology

Brittany Aubin is a technical advisor II for educational technology within the Education Practice. In this role, she supports the design and delivery of programs that integrate educational technology and serves as an internal resource on major trends in the field of information and communications technology for education (ICT4E) and digital development.

Prior to IREX, Brittany led the instructional design team working on 2U’s health degree portfolio, supporting over twenty university partners to build blended degree offerings and unlock access for students who could not attend residential programs. She is passionate about the ways in which technology, when merged with best practices in learning science and instructional design, can expand the reach and impact of education for individuals and their communities.

She brings expertise in preparing institutions and faculty to teach with technology and in leveraging blended modalities to teach hands-on and interpersonal skills, without sacrificing quality or rigor. Brittany began her career as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Zambia, where she worked on projects related to rural teacher training and behavior change communications.

Brittany holds undergraduate degrees in journalism and international development from American University, and a master’s in public health from George Washington University. A current resident of Nyack, NY, Brittany has lived on both coasts of America, as well as in Chile, Zambia, and Thailand.
