Ayaba Fafa Agbobli
Fafa is an Accounting Manager (Ap and Payroll) at IREX. She works closely with the controller and accounting manager to support all aspects of accounts payable and payroll at IREX.
Before joining IREX, Fafa worked in various capacities in the finance and accounting industry. Coming from a developing country, Togo, and seeing the effects that poverty and lack of resources have on individuals and populations as a whole, Fafa is passionate about nonprofit organizations and the impact their work can have—not only on the recipients of the services or products offered, but also on the people who administer and manage such organizations and projects.
Fafa holds a master’s of business administration and a master’s of sciences in information technology with an emphasis on project management, both obtained from Marymount University. Her bachelor’s degree focuses on accounting, and she is working toward obtaining her Certified Public Accountant certification. With her background in accounting and IT, she looks forward to using her finance and technology knowledge and experience to help IREX move its mission forward.
Fafa is fluent in English and French, with beginner’s level Spanish. She is also fluent in her local dialect, Ewe.
