Alessa works in the Sustainable Textiles and Biomaterials sector, leading Hemp Hub MX. This fellow is a circular economy specialist leading a social enterprise focused on producing hemp textiles and other regenerative materials. Its first product is a sustainable knit textile jersey developed specifically for a distributor customer in Los Angeles. It is developing a line of 100% hemp socks for the local and international market that will be the first production in its sustainable basics collection. Hemp Hub is developing an informative digital platform for its regenerative raw and biomaterials. These materials are innovative in Mexico. Coming to the YLAI Fellowship, Alessa’s top business challenge is Law and Policy.
