Alessa Caceres is a program associate for the Community Engagement Exchange Program in the Leadership Practice. In this role, Alessa serves as an advisor for CEE fellows and supports host organizations in the matching process.

Prior to joining the CEE team at IREX, Alessa worked on the Community Solutions Program as an intern with a focus in curriculum design. Before her time at IREX, Alessa served as an ESL and digital literacy tutor in the New River Valley, worked on sustainable development projects at Virginia Tech, and facilitated leadership programs in Honduras.

Alessa holds bachelor’s degrees in Spanish and international studies and a minor in sociology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
