Alessa Caceres is a Program Coordinator for the Community Engagement Exchange Program and Community Solutions Program. In this role, Alessa supports curriculum development and in-person events. She also serves as an advisor for CEE fellows and supports the collaboration between program stakeholders.

Prior to joining the CEE team at IREX, Alessa worked on the Community Solutions Program as an intern with a focus in curriculum design. Before her time at IREX, Alessa served as an ESL and digital literacy tutor in the New River Valley, worked on sustainable development projects at Virginia Tech, and facilitated leadership trainings in Honduras.

Alessa holds bachelor’s degrees in Spanish and international studies and a minor in sociology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
