Neli Rodriguez
Neli is the Finance and Operations Manager for IREX’s Guatemalan Office. She provides financial, operational, and compliance management to IREX Guatemala Country Office, supporting the day-to-day activities of programs in the country and in the region.
She is responsible for all aspects of financial, operational compliance, and grants management of the Guatemala country office, including, budgeting, reporting, among others. She supports program staff in preparing financial reports and maintaining compliance with local government, donors, and IREX regulations while coordinating closely with management staff and our Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
Prior to joining IREX, Neli worked as Financial, Administrative and Human resources Manager for the International Peacebuilding Alliance, a Swiss international association working in peacebuilding, as well as in the International Labor Organization (ILO) Office for Central America, Haiti, Panama and the Dominican Republic. In her role as manager, she had to make strategic decisions in critical situations, while complying with detailed requirements and undergoing high pressure. She is confident in her knowledge of management and always seeks to optimize available resources, ensuring compliance with standards and procedures to optimize and ensure the welfare of organizations and their resources.
Neli holds a master's degree in Corporative Administration from Universidad Panamericana Guatemala, and a Business Administration Bachelor from Universidad Mariano Galvez de Guatemala.
