How We Solve for AI
- To advance, education systems and institutions require more than isolated pilot projects. They need a clear, coordinated plan for integrating AI into policies, practices, and institutional infrastructure. This includes strengthening governance and regulatory frameworks, as well as building workforce capacity and AI leadership across the system.
- IREX helps education systems and institutions achieve this by providing people-centered, evidence-based solutions for safe, scalable adoption of AI. Our approach strengthens institutions, supports educators, and ensures that AI enhances learning outcomes while preserving professional judgment and accountability.
What We Do
AI Readiness Diagnostic
- We assess the ability of governments, higher education institutions, and school systems to adopt AI in ways that are safe, scalable, and effective for learning.
- We identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities for AI integration across key domains including data infrastructure, skills and talent, governance, sustainability, financing, and innovation culture.
AI Strategy Development
- We work with education systems and institutions to define a clear vision and practical roadmap for AI integration. This includes:
- Vision and guiding principles
- Use-case prioritization
- Policy and governance frameworks
- Change management planning
- Workforce upskilling
- Business case development
Pilot AI tools
- We pilot AI tools in controlled environments. IREX's “AI sandbox” will validate priority use cases under strong governance and risk controls, generating evidence to inform a comprehensive AI Policy and a portfolio of tested and contextualized tools for scaling.
- We produce an actionable roadmap for short, medium, and long-term AI transformation. Key elements of the pilot include:
- Classroom pilots
- Feedback loops
- Tool evaluation
- Workforce upskilling sessions
