As a designated BridgeUSA sponsor, IREX supports host organizations and participants through key steps of the sponsorship process, so your exchange program is clearly defined, well supported, and administered responsibly. We have decades of experience and deep expertise sponsoring customized exchange programs for international professionals and students, and a reputation for responsive, people-centered support across every stage of the program.

Our services include:

• Category guidance to help identify the most appropriate J‑1 program option for your background and goals
• Application review and eligibility screening for participants and host organizations
• Program documentation support, including templates and review of structured plans for Intern/Trainee placements, and clear program parameters for all categories
• DS‑2019 and DS-7002 issuance and SEVIS record administration for approved programs
• J-2 visa sponsorship of eligible family members of exchange visitors
• Pre‑arrival guidance, orientation, and written resources to support participants’ transition to and success in their U.S. program
• On‑program monitoring, evaluation, and reporting required for federal compliance
• Support with program updates and changes (e.g., address updates, extensions, supervisor changes), when allowable and consistent with J-1 visa category rules.
• Dedicated, responsive staff support for participants and hosts, including 24/7 emergency support.

Please note, outside of specific programs, IREX does not provide participant recruitment or placement services. Host organizations and participants identify the opportunity to work together, and IREX serves as the designated sponsor to enable their collaboration.
