Dalen Todd leads business development strategy for IREX as Senior Director of Global Business Development. He manages and grows relationships across the U.S. Government, governments worldwide, and major bilateral and multilateral partnerships, while overseeing public and private fundraising that helps IREX expand opportunity and deliver measurable impact around the world. 

Dalen oversees organization-wide business development processes, including proposal management, submissions, pipeline updates, and cross-functional coordination. He works with technical, regional, finance, operations, and executive teams to align opportunities with IREX’s capabilities, partner priorities, and long-term growth strategy. 

Dalen has more than 25 years of experience in international development spanning fundraising, finance, strategy, and business development. He has led teams responsible for strategic partnerships and resource mobilization, helping secure more than $1 billion in funding to support IREX’s work in over 100 countries. He holds a BA in international studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University.
