Pietro Turilli leads IREX’s growth strategy, strategic partnerships, and revenue diversification as Chief Growth Officer, advancing the organization’s IREX 2040 Ambition to expand impact, strengthen resilience, and deliver practical solutions at greater scale. In this role, he helps position IREX for long-term growth by aligning market insight, partner priorities, and organizational capabilities around high-value opportunities that help people learn, lead, and thrive.

Pietro brings more than 30 years of executive leadership experience in global business development, strategic partnerships, capital mobilization, market positioning, and organizational growth for mission-driven institutions operating in complex international environments. His work has focused on building enterprise-wide growth platforms, diversifying revenue, strengthening customer and partner engagement, and advising CEOs and boards on sustainability, revenue mix, risk, and transformation.

Before joining IREX, Pietro served as Senior Vice President for External Affairs at TB Alliance and held senior partnerships, resource mobilization, business development, and leadership roles within the CGIAR System, the CGIAR Fund Office at the World Bank, Heifer Project International, and the International Fund for Agricultural Development. Across these roles, he has helped organizations translate technical expertise into market-facing value propositions, mobilize significant resources, and build partnerships that support measurable impact. He holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Science in International Politics from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
