James Mahoney, director of marketing and communications, provides strategic direction and implementation of brand marketing, digital communications, and public relations across all organizational initiatives and service solutions. He ensures global communications meet programmatic needs and leads reviews of process improvement of global communications, partner marketing, website design and content management, and external / internal communications.

James has more than 30 years of leadership experience across a diverse set of nonprofit and Fortune 500 organizations, including NAFSA, Capital One, DuPont de Nemours, Pepco Communications, Time Warner, and Hackman Oy Ab. His past work encompasses building brand marketing teams, executing integrated MarCom strategies, improving website engagement, and driving successful direct response campaigns across digital, video, print, and social channels. He has delivered measurable ROI, launched brands and product lines, implemented rebranding initiatives, and managing multimillion-dollar advertising budgets. 

James holds a Master of Business Administration in marketing and strategic planning from the Katz Graduate School of Management at the University of Pittsburgh, and a Bachelor of Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
