Giulia Cardani
Giulia Cardani supports IREX's Global Impact Hub programs. Her work focuses on expanding access to quality education, skills development, and economic opportunities for youth and adults through workforce development, partnership building, and innovative learning approaches. She has experience designing and managing programs, cultivating partnerships, supporting donor engagement and business development efforts, and overseeing program implementation, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
Giulia currently supports Building Tomorrow: STEM and Opportunities in Jordan and IREX’s Future-Ready Workforce portfolio. In these roles, she helps develop and implement initiatives that strengthen workforce systems, advance STEM education, promote workforce readiness, facilitate labor mobility pathways, and expand employment opportunities for young people. Her work spans Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America and includes collaboration with governments, educational institutions, private-sector partners, donors, and civil society organizations.
Prior to joining IREX, Giulia worked with the World Food Programme and several international and local organizations, leading programs focused on education, youth development, teacher training, research, and community engagement. She has extensive experience in intercultural and bilingual education, capacity strengthening, stakeholder engagement, donor relations, and technical writing. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with educators, community leaders, government counterparts, and development partners to strengthen learning outcomes and create pathways to education and employment. She holds an MA in education and international development from University College London and an MSc in anthropology and development studies from Radboud University.
