Cheryl, senior advisor of program delivery, leads the strategy and learning agenda for leadership development globally. She also manages a portfolio of fellowship and leadership development programs that support leaders in more than 100 countries in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Europe and Eurasia, and the Americas.

Previously at IREX, Cheryl held senior leadership roles across global leadership and fellowship programs, including acting director and deputy director of the Leadership Practice. She led strategy and oversight for programs supporting leaders in more than 100 countries, managed large global teams, and served as chief of party for the Mandela Washington Fellowship, as well as senior project director for a media‑strengthening program focused on Syria. Earlier at IREX, Cheryl managed aspects of several media development projects implemented in the Balkans.

Cheryl brings over 25 years of experience leading complex international programs spanning leadership development, conflict resolution, youth, democracy and media development, and public health working across government and the NGO sector, including time with the Africa Bureau at the Department of State. She holds a BA in International Affairs and an MA in Peace, Development, and Conflict Resolution.
