Sarah Adams provides program support to the Global Solutions team at IREX and the binational teams in the program. She assists two programs: Global Solutions Sustainability Challenge and Global Solutions Conversations.
Prior to IREX, Sarah lived in Senegal for two years working as a health volunteer with the Peace Corps. She spent most of her time working with the local middle school, overseeing a health club and facilitating a “Gender Day”. Due to COVID-19, she returned to the U.S. a month ahead of schedule and became the data collection & program evaluation coordinator for an education commission through AmeriCorps. Most recently, she was a program coordinator for a non-profit in New York City that focused on literacy for students in first through fifth grade.
She holds a BA from Georgetown University majoring in government and minoring in environmental studies. She is currently finishing her MA at New York University in education policy and development.
