Robin Lathrop provides management and oversight to the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program in Pakistan (Global UGRAD-Pakistan).
She has also provided oversight to a variety of foundation-funded training and international field research programs for US scholars and professionals in Eurasia and Africa, including the Title VIII Grant Program, the University Administration Support Program, the Yegor Gaidar Fellowship in Economics, and IREX’s customizable Exchange Visitor (J-Visa) program.
Robin previously contributed to the management of the Teachers for Global Classrooms (TGC) program and managed alumni programming for the Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) program and the International Leaders in Education (ILEP) program. She has contributed to the management of Mandela Washington Fellowship (MWF) Presidential Summits and is active as a lead facilitator for a variety of IREX training programs.
Robin received an MA in Russian studies and certificate in Russian translation from American University, and a BA in English literature from Wesleyan University. Her knowledge of Eurasian affairs and culture began with undergraduate study in St. Petersburg, Russia, and she has traveled professionally in Eastern Europe, Eurasia, North Africa, and Sub-Saharan Africa.
